Instructions: You will feel a small rectangular battery pack just inside the fabric above the paw on both sides.
Feel around to locate a thin plastic strip tag inside (not the button) and pull it out to activate the battery. 
Turn on the lights by finding and pressing the button on the battery pack that you just removed the tag from.
